Way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Really? Is it?
This much heard adage tickles my funny bone. Its hilarious to digest this cliche. Delving into male psychology has never been easy. I find this unjust when people blame women. Albeit, there are some big-mouthed women, who take up gossiping as a full time job.
Coming back to the thought provoking cliche that has kept me disillusioned for a long time. Can we really win a man by flashing kitchen mastery?  Perhaps, spotting different shades of homo sapiens around me, it has become very clear that expectations, goals, desires vary hugely. However, falling in love with someone can’t be subjected to conditions! A woman cooks or she doesn’t, she is a prim and proper householder or not, she is white or black, tall or short, slim or fat…the ifs and buts continue.

To put it straight there are no fixed specifications for every male prototype. To my observation, falling for someone can’t be reasoned with concrete logics. It can never be strained with definitions and limitations. Be it a man or a woman, you tend to like people as a matter of consequences. And not foolishly hitting the floor with some lame reasons.

Women who don’t cook fashionable are not deprived of successful love lives. And those who cook exceptional but lacking the traits their partners envision can sadly miss love. There are no types in which we can segregate men. Each man i see, is a different type altogether. While, at a few points, I find all of them same!
Some of them like women bold and beautiful, some meek and gentle, some self made and outgoing, some soft and quiet.
Your guy may love anything and everything in you. Sometimes even your flaws.

Everyone likes good food. Who doesn’t? Even the calorie- conscious fitness- freaks enjoy delicious food, once in many months. Food is a necessaity. It connects us. Brings family and friends together.  So stomach can be the starting point to attract him. But not the only point. Expertise in culinary skills can add an exta flavor to your appeal. Subtle desserts, gluttonous salads, luscious main courses and all those dining delicacies. Who wouldn’t ask for more?   You don’t only offer a perfect meal, you offer him your dedication. Your love served on his platter. It’s cheesy when after a long day he returns home, exhausted, and you serve him an inexplicable taste at the dinning. Satiated he’ll be thereafter. Your efforts will be acknowledged. Putting him in a pleasing mood.
Doesn’t matter if you are not excellent at this activity. The average kind also works. Whatever you do. You cook or not. Your actions must be genuine and comforting to him.
Love begets love. If you love him with all your heart, naturally you’ll get it back. Few Adjustments and compromises strengthen love even more.
There are no techniques, no shortcuts. There is however a probability that he may be impressed by your proficient cooking. Not always can cooking be your brownie point. But whenever it can be, grab it quick!
Keep a note. Be your trueself. No one appreciates a fake partner. And all girls out there. Remember, way to a man’s heart can be through his stomach, but it’s not the only way!
